How we work
You should always know what is being made, and where you get to say no.
Seven stages, each with a named approval gate. Nothing starts before the stage before it has been signed off, and every deliverable is defined with a quantity before any money changes hands.
How we work
Seven stages, with an approval gate at every one.
You should always know what is being made, what it will cost, when you will see it, and where you get to say no. Nothing here starts before the stage before it has been signed off.
- 01
Business Discovery
Before anything is proposed, we find out what is actually true.
1–2 weeks
What happens
- Initial consultation with the people who make the decisions
- Business and offer review — what is sold, to whom, at what margin
- Customer understanding, drawn from your data and your sales conversations
- Competitor review covering positioning, offers and visible activity
- Audit of current marketing, analytics, ad accounts and search visibility
- Goal identification, converted into something measurable
You receive
- Written discovery summary
- The challenges we identified, ranked
- Initial opportunity map with effort against likely return
You provide
- Access to analytics, ad accounts and any existing CRM
- An hour with whoever owns the commercial decision
- 02
Strategy and Scope
The stage where the argument about what you are buying is settled.
1 week
What happens
- Positioning decided and written down
- Recommended services selected, and services deliberately excluded
- Channel selection with the reasoning behind each choice
- Deliverables defined with quantities, not adjectives
- Timeline built backwards from your date
- Budget split between fees and third-party costs
- Measurement plan agreed before any work starts
You receive
- Written project scope with quantities and formats
- Delivery schedule with named milestones
- A responsibilities table — ours and yours
- Stated revision allowance per stage
- Commercial proposal with every third-party cost listed separately
You provide
- A decision on scope, in writing
- 03
Creative Direction
Agreeing the direction before anyone spends a week executing the wrong one.
1–2 weeks
What happens
- Visual references assembled and narrowed
- Messaging direction drafted from the positioning
- Content direction and formats proposed
- Campaign concept developed where a campaign is in scope
- Technology approach specified where a build is in scope
You receive
- Creative direction document
- Moodboard with the reasoning, not just the images
- Initial concept applied to at least one real asset
You provide
- Consolidated feedback from all stakeholders, in one round
- 04
Production and Development
The build. This is the longest stage and the one you should see progress during.
2–10 weeks, depending on scope
What happens
- Design across digital, print and film applications
- Copywriting and content production
- Video production, direction and post
- Website or application development
- Campaign build and tracking implementation
- Print-ready file preparation and supplier briefing
You receive
- Work in progress at agreed checkpoints, not only at the end
- Staging environment for anything being built
- Draft assets in the formats specified in the scope
You provide
- Brand materials, product information and any existing assets
- Access to premises, product or team for any agreed shoot
- Domain, hosting and platform access where a build is in scope
- Timely answers — an unanswered question is the most common cause of a missed date
- 05
Review and Quality Assurance
Two reviews: ours first, then yours.
1–2 weeks
What happens
- Internal Brandx quality review against the approved scope and the brand guidelines
- Client review with consolidated feedback
- Agreed revisions, within the allowance stated in the scope
- Technical testing — performance, accessibility, cross-browser, cross-device
- Final approval
You receive
- A review build or proof
- A written list of what changed after each revision round
- Test results for anything technical
You provide
- Consolidated feedback within the agreed window
- 06
Launch
Going live, with the measurement already working.
Days to 1 week
What happens
- Campaign publishing across the agreed channels
- Website deployment with redirects and search console verification
- Advertising activation
- Content rollout against the calendar
- Print delivery and installation coordination
- Tracking verification — every conversion path tested end to end before spend starts
You receive
- Live assets and a launch checklist showing what was verified
- Access to every account, in your own name
- Handover documentation and a walkthrough session
- 07
Measurement and Improvement
The part most agencies treat as a report and we treat as the work.
Ongoing, reviewed monthly
What happens
- Performance review against the measures agreed at scope
- Reporting written to be read by a business owner, not by a marketer
- Learning documented, including what failed
- Optimisation applied to creative, targeting, pages and process
- Next-stage recommendation, including where we think you should stop spending
You receive
- Monthly report against the agreed measures
- A working session, not a slide deck
- A recommendation for the next cycle
Project scope
What you are buying, stated before you buy it.
“Complete marketing” is not a deliverable. Every Brandx package and every individual service answers the same sixteen questions in writing, before any money changes hands.
This is not a legal formality. Almost every dispute between a Nepali business and its agency traces back to one of these sixteen lines never having been agreed.
- Included deliverables
- Named item by item, never as a category like "complete marketing".
- Quantity
- How many designs, videos, articles, pages or units — as a number.
- Formats
- The file formats and aspect ratios you receive, including editable sources.
- Platforms
- Exactly which channels are managed, and which are not.
- Timeline
- Milestone dates, and what each one depends on from your side.
- Revision rounds
- Counted per stage. Extra rounds are quoted before they start.
- Client materials required
- What we need from you, and by when, for the date to hold.
- Approval process
- Who signs off, in what form, at which gate.
- Payment schedule
- Deposit, milestones and final payment, stated upfront.
- Third-party expenses
- Anything paid to someone other than Brandx, listed at cost.
- Advertising spend
- Always separate from the management fee, always paid by you to the platform.
- Hosting and software fees
- Domain, hosting, plugins, licences and subscriptions, itemised.
- Talent, travel, equipment, location
- Quoted per shoot, never assumed to be included.
- Printing and delivery
- Production, finishing, delivery and installation quoted separately.
- Intellectual property transfer
- Ownership of final delivered work transfers to you on final payment, in writing.
- Ongoing support
- What happens after delivery, for how long, and what it costs after that.
What happens if something slips
Dates move for two reasons: a decision takes longer than planned, or the scope changes. Both are normal. What matters is that you hear about it when we do, not at the deadline — so every stage names what it is waiting on from your side, and a delayed approval moves the delivery date by the same number of days rather than silently compressing the work.
Scope changes are quoted before they are started. Additional revision rounds beyond the allowance are quoted before they are started. Neither ever appears for the first time on an invoice.
Start with a working session.
We go through your analytics, your accounts and your sales process, and tell you what we would do first.
