The problem this solves

Most marketing budgets in Nepal are allocated from opinion — the founder's instinct, a competitor's visible activity, or whatever the last agency recommended. That works until the market shifts, and then nobody can tell whether the problem is the offer, the price, the channel or the message. Research is the cheapest way to stop paying to find out the hard way.

Who this is for

Businesses about to commit serious money — a new product, a new city, a rebrand, a funding round — and organisations whose category has changed faster than their assumptions about it. It is not the right first purchase for a business that needs enquiries this month; that is a conversion problem, and we would say so.

Deliverables

  • Category and demand analysis, including seasonality and search trend data
  • Competitor review: positioning, pricing signals, channel presence and creative approach
  • Customer interviews or survey fieldwork, with the raw responses handed over
  • Segment definitions with the buying trigger and objection for each
  • Opportunity map ranked by effort against likely return
  • A written recommendation with the decisions it supports, and the ones it does not

How we run it

  1. 01

    Frame the decision

We start from what you are actually deciding. Research without a decision attached becomes a document nobody opens, so we agree the questions that would change your mind.

    You receive

Research brief with the specific decisions in scope

  2. 02

    Desk and data review

Search demand, platform data, published statistics, your own analytics and CRM history, and what competitors are visibly doing across channels.

    You receive

Baseline picture of the category as it stands

  3. 03

    Fieldwork

Interviews with current customers, lost prospects and — where it matters most — people who chose a competitor. Survey work where the sample supports it.

    You receive

Transcripts, survey data and coded findings

  4. 04

    Synthesis

Findings are reduced to what changes a decision. We flag where the evidence is thin rather than rounding it up into confidence.

    You receive

Segment definitions, opportunity map, confidence notes

  5. 05

    Readout and handover

A working session with the people who will act on it, then the full dataset handed over so you own it.

    You receive

Recommendation document and complete raw data

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the free audit most agencies offer?
A free audit is a sales document — it is designed to find problems the agency sells the solution to. This is paid work with no obligation to buy anything afterwards, the raw data is handed to you, and part of the deliverable is telling you where the evidence does not support a decision.
Can you research a market where almost no data is published?
Yes, and most Nepali categories are exactly that. Where published data does not exist we rely on primary fieldwork, search demand, platform signals and competitor behaviour — and we state the confidence level rather than presenting an estimate as a fact.
Will you tell us not to proceed?
If that is what the research shows, yes. It has a cost either way; the cheaper outcome is finding out before the launch budget is committed.

A working session, not a sales call. We will tell you if this is not the thing you need.
